Human Environment Interaction
DependThe mesopotamians depended on their environment because of what would happen without it. When Mesopotamia was involved in a war, rivers could provide cover if they were deep enough, blocking enemy passage through an area. The Mesopotamians also depended on their environment because without their river, they would be nothing. Their river gave them their trade routes, their water, their irrigation system for crops, it made everything. Without it Mesopotamia would not have made it very far.

AdaptThe Mesopotamians adapted to the environment by building large open stone buildings, which were ventilated to allow the free flow of air. Such building designs were a large improvement because heatstroke could be a very prevalent thing with the hot sun in the middle east. To withstand the direct heat of the sun, the Mesopotamians wore only simple robes with some jewelry to keep the heat off of them.

ModifyThe Mesopotamians modified their environment to survived by flooding the Tigris and Euphrates, which re fertilized the soil when it was too dry to wait for rainfall, they simply used the rivers to keep their crops from drying out. By manipulating the water by flooding it, the Mesopotamians were able to figure a new trick to remove human waste: the sewer system. By bringing in fresh water and taking out the bad, you no longer had to worry about your bucket full of urine or poop, and where to empty it. The Mesopotamians could also use their waste as fertilizer for soil, increasing the amount of crops

This is one of the more expensive robes that were used in Mesopotamia, meant for important people like kings or queens, who lived in large, cooler areas. That is why they were able to use ones with such extravagant fur. This often would help with cold nights, and the outer robes could be taken off to reveal thinner fabric on the , allowing it to be used when it was cold outside.
