Relative Location One of the largest questions about Mesopotamia is where it is located. Mesopotamia is located in between the borders of what now is Iraq, Iran, Syria, and turkey. Another way to find the relative location is the two famous rivers it was located by, the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers. They gave the aincent civilization trade routes to negotiate with other countries. According to Google Maps, Mesopotamia's center was mostly located around the infamous city of Fallujah, where one of the most intense military battles in modern warfare occurred, Operation Phantom Fury, and Operation Viligant resolve, also known as the First and Second battle of Fallujah and Baghdad, a spot U.S. military are still stationed around.
