BabyloniaThe arguably most famous City State in Mesopotamia, Babylonia is the home to the infamous King Hammurabi, who created Hammurabi's code, which helped the Babylonians get into a new golden age of no crime. However, after Hammurabi's death, the code was removed, and things began to not run as well as before.

SumerSumer was the first advanced aincent city state in the Fertile Crescent. They ruled for a few years, until they were divided into City States when Mesopotamia was united. Eventually, they were mixed in with the Akkadian's and eventually there was no more Sumer. They had their own unique language that was eventually overlapped by Akkahian
